The venue, Meldreth Primary school has a wonderful indoor space, a spacious kitchen to cook lovely food and an amazing outdoor area with lots of spaces to play... You need to provide a packed lunch and a drink for your child and
we will provide a healthy and nutritious morning snack.

Why book your children into our French holiday club?
-
We work with a different theme every day and we go over the songs and vocabulary we learnt during the previous sessions.
-
All themes are innovative and well thought: we study French painters, music, famous landmarks, geography, history etc..
-
The parents receive a daily email after each session to recap what we learnt. I also attach pictures of our day.
-
We are DBS checked, have lots of teaching and camp leading experience and we love what we do!!!
-
We are native French speakers or have lived and studied in France, so that the children can learn with the best accent!
The club is very popular and gets booked up very quickly, we advise you to book early to guarantee a space for your child.

What's the refund policy?
If we need to cancel due to government regulations a full refund will be given.
If your child cannot attend because of illness or has any COVID symptoms, or is self isolating or was asked to self isolate, we are really sorry but no refund will be offered. You are welcome to find someone to take your child's place and inform us of the new child's parents' details.
If a child on a waiting list can take your space, we will issue a refund.
An admin fee of £10 will be charged for any changes to your booking. If we can find someone to take your child's space, a £10 admin fee will be
charged and we will refund you the difference.

FAQ'S

- What if the Holiday Club is cancelled due to COVID-19?
If we have to cancel the Holiday Club due to any legal rules implemented by the UK government, you will be entitled to a full refund or a credit towards a future session.

What should my child bring?
We provide a morning snack (croissant/pain au chocolat or brioche, and some fruits), but please pack a healthy and balanced lunch and water for your child.
Please ensure your child wears comfortable clothes and have a full change of clothes in their bag. We always play outside after lunch and the play area can get muddy if it has been raining. We like to keep the hall and equipment clean and will encourage children to change if they are muddy.
We also ask for a pair of indoor and outdoor shoes (crocs or slippers for indoor and crocs or wellies or trainers for outside are perfect)
- In the summer, please pack a sun hat, suncream, extra water and a pair of outdoor shoes (crocs are ideal)
- In the winter, please pack suitable warm clothing, wellies and don't forget a change of clothes!
We have hand sanitiser in the hall but if you would like to bring your own, that is fine.

-Can I get feedback on my child's day?
Absolutely, what makes us special is that we send parents a recap of the day after each session by email so that you can hear about all the wonderful things we have been doing. We also create a WhatsApp group and send pictures of our day to parents.
We are also available to chat at drop off time or pick up time, should you need any help with anything.

- What if it is my child's first time?
At the French club we are used to be working with children and we understand that it can be difficult for children (and parents) to attend a setting for the first time. We have an excellent caring team and our priority is to make each child feel comfortable. We have children attending from all around Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. We even have children attending from Suffolk and Essex!
Your child will quickly make new friends and as the groups are kept small and we have a very organised timetable, it is not as overwhelming for children. As a mum myself, I do make sure each child is happy, had enough to drink and eat and is learning to the best of their ability.

- What if my child is ill and cannot attend or I want to cancel?
Please let us know if your child is unable to attend and if we have children on the waiting list, we will offer your space and you will be able to get a refund. If we cannot refill the space, we cannot offer a refund but you are more than welcome to find someone to take your place, just pass on our details to the new parent so that we can take the necessary information.
